12 year old pictures

So I was really missing my husband yesterday and thinking bout our 12 year anniversary that is Sunday and thus the 12 post! You are in for a treat a real blast from the past today.
12 is really really a lot of years to be married. I'm counting Hollywood years y'all not my parents and in laws who have all broken the 35 year mark!
And think back to 12 years ago- that's right we had all just partied like it was 1999. Because it was! We had just graduated college and planned to be married two weeks later.


This is actually even BEFORE 1999- it was when John and I were just "talking." Pre-DTR it was February 1997 Check out my hair- I could actually sit on it!

Going to the Zoo!

We took a mini field trip to the Waco Zoo last week with a couple of friends and we had a BLAST!!!
Love this Zoo. It's every good thing everyone has said- it's all true. Small enough to conquer in a day, not too crowded, lots of animals, and FUN! The only downside was that on the way home all of my girls slept and this tired Momma wanted to too!
Gianna's favorite was the red birds, Elizabeth liked the orangutans, and Cosette liked the monkeys because she kept making monkey sounds all day! The snake house gave me the willies. Super long snakes that had largish bumps in them in the middle. I liked the Giraffes- we got to see them using their tongues to eat from the trees!

Yes I'm late. I forgot to post the pics since the babies birthday was right after this year. So here they are now.

Mothers Day Tea

Oh what fun it was to be celebrated by your four year old. She had secrets that she had for a fun day for Mom. And she kept them too. She needed an outlet to share so she shared all the details with daddy. But mommy she kept in the dark, and mommy was very surprised indeed.

pArTy x's 2!!

So when your two twins turn two years old you naturally HAVE to have a two by 2 party. It's a Noah's ark theme and I went a little more rainbow because they technically aren't one of each kind. But they still came in a pair! And thanks to Lullaby Lubbock for the great idea!!!


Thanks to super awesome friends-we had lots of Noah's arks and this cool sign that greeted guests.


I made velum raindrops hanging from the chandeliers. Just cut out and sew on the machine.

24 months

Elizabeth and Cosette you are 24 months old! I suppose I'll have to stop calling you babies. But not anytime soon.


Elizabeth you love to wave. It makes me laugh that you like to wave from only 2 feet away. You also love balls. Love to bounce them. Love to hold them. You like to dress up and even try on big sisters underwear. You only like food when you want to. You LOVE your milk.


You are personality with a capital P! You chatter in your cute little Beaker voice and call yourself Coco. You like books and being read too. You inhale breakfast. You eat more than me in scrambled eggs!

It's been a wild and crazy 2 years. I still get a "You've got your hands full." Every time I'm out with you. And your know what- I smile every time, because it's totally true. From reminding you to use your words and not lie down screaming, to cleaning up after you've emptied out an entire box of Kleenex. And yes to stoping you from eating dishwashing soap and keeping my lipstick out of your hands- yes my hands are full!
I love you my babies- I mean toddlers!
