Color Time

We all had art school the other day. Art school is what Gianna calls craft time. Any type of craft- Art school. It came from Murray had a Little Lamb on Sesame Street. Each day he goes to a different "school" and learns how to do the stuff. SO Gianna calls most things a "school." Elizabeth liked to stamp. Cosette wanted to eat crayons. I think we'll wait a bit more until Elizabeth and Cosette join us for another class!

First Birthday Party Cakes

I wanted to post these pictures of the Girls' cake for their first birthday party. I have a good time making them even with running out of powdered sugar to make enough icing. My mom helped out and smoothed the cakes.

Elizabeth's personal cake. I made hers purple because that's her color. Plus it was a pink and purple party!

Cosette's in pink! That's how I know what bowl, spoon, or cup to give to each girl. It helps us figure out who gets what and how much everybody eats.

Now as a twin mom I am intrigued by this:

It is HARD not to compare the children to each other. I think other parents do it too. With twins you have a subject and a control RIGHT next to each other!!!!!!

New is new

We here at the Ludlow Casa are settling in. That means that we have officially gone through every box in our house! We still have a few to unpack (it's just the china so don't be all "I unpacked all my boxes in my house before we even moved in" 'K?), but have officially heaped in piles- keep, trash, and garage sale.
Let me just say, wow! I will always be in awe of professional organizers. I have even done a craft project. I found my hot glue gun! It was fun.
I think I'll do a few more- so done with blogging and on to crafting. Yea glue guns!

We went down to my parents house in Galveston when my mom was here. Gianna now asks to go to the beach quite often! She LOVED it. She especially liked walking on the piers and running away from waves.
