...3 girls in the tub!
We got really brave and tried all three out in the tub. EVERYone had a blast. Daddy especially loved only having ONE bath time instead of THREE. Mommy loved a few more minutes of quiet at the end of a long day.

11 months
Elizabeth and Cosette
Labeled for those who still need some help. I know you can't tell from these pictures, but you really can tell by their hair color. C- blond and E- Brunette.
My sweet big girls- you are only ONE month away from turning ONE YEAR OLD!!!
I cannot believe how fast you are growing.
You are my petite princesses. About 14 pounds I guess. You are wearing size 9 clothes.
You both can crawl and are so FAST. Cosette you like to crawl with something in your hands. And if Elizabeth has a toy you are prone to snatch it. Elizabeth you are so fast. If you see something across the room and you want it then you are there speedy. You are our sprinter.
Cosette you will be the marathoner. I find you everywhere and in every room. You love to explore and discover. ALL the TIME!
Gianna is still your mostest favorite person. She can make you both smile like no one else.
You are both pulling up to your knees, and wave to Daddy before he waves to you. Bye-bye every morning.

Spring Break and stuff
I've been on a break last week. We went no where, and did much.
We had a fun little playgroup party on Saint Patrick's day. Of which, I was so busy serving/feeding/ cleaning that I didn't take a single picture.
Imagine cute little children all dressed in green.
We began packing and cleaning out some things. Wow, A lot of "stuff."
We looked at a few houses and still are looking. Waiting seems what we do!
But really I've been reflecting a lot this past week. My babies are going to be a year old SOON! I just held each one of them and rocked and rocked and rocked with them. They will be year old in about 6 weeks and yes, they still will be a "baby," but they will be over a year old and that's what makes you BIG.
I've also been reminding John that this time last year I was on bed rest. We cannot believe it. I was "resting" for 7 weeks! For resting it was hard work. SEVEN WEEKS! That is a LOOOOONNNNNGGG time. I am so glad that the girls came at God's perfect timing and how it was hard to do nothing, but I got a lot of reading done!
I made John take me out to see the bluebonnets. I'll lay down in the car I said. I can do it. I wanted so very much to be a part of the spring and tradition that is Texas in March. I've been looking around town and haven't seen any yet. Anyone got a good spot?

Quintuplet Surprise
I'm in the middle of watching this show and WOW! Really this has been our life this first year minus 3 kids and the surgery.
Parts that I related to:
"I'm trying."
"I know he needs to go to work, but it's so hard because I could really use his help here."
"Where is the money going to come from?"
"This is a day to celebrate."
"Does insurance cover that?"
"We've never gone anywhere all 8 of us at the same time."
"$5,000 a year in diapers."
"Do I have to be grateful? Yes, you have to be grateful."
"How do you do it? You just do what you got to do."
"I can't imagine life without them."
"We have 6 kids. In 24 hours someone is always crying."
"I know she just wants to be held, but I can't."
"We have 5 healthy babies, we are so blessed."
Hearing all those babies cry on TV really brought back memories of the first few months with E and C. All crying all the time. So stinking HARD.
I don't want to complain, but I want to keep it real. It was HARD. It is exponentially easier each passing day. That they can feed themselves, and drink by themselves is AMAZING! That they even change each others diapers is a great skill they are learning! ;) I think Gianna would do it for me if I let her!
John would laugh at me for even watching the show. Why do want to watch a reality show when you are living it? I guess it's like misery loves company(or a good train wreck). NOT that I'm in misery, but that I "get" some of the struggles that they are going through. Some of those issues that you have to think about when managing to get all those little people out the door.
But it's sooooo worth it to sneak into their rooms at night to see sweet precious girls asleep. Cosette in a corner of a crib usually with her bottom up. Elizabeth sleeping on her side with her lovey right in her face, and Gianna is trying out a zillion new sleep positions. My dear sweet girls, I love you.
