Good Friday bake day

The girls and I got our baking has on and baked up some great goodies.

We made some hot cross buns together, but no one kissed them before we ate them.

Everyone really enjoyed dying the eggs. I forgot to make deviled eggs on Easter with them. They're still good right?

We made some jello grass for our bunnies in the grass

And we put marshmallow Jesus in croissant rolls rolled them up and rolled them in spices. We baked them and said-He is not here. He is Risen!!!

Shameless plug (and a bit of pride)

My wonderful and totally smart husband is an entrepreneur (totally had to spell check that word!). Let me just tell you its a ride. Sometimes it is a lot of FAITH and sometimes it is more Faith and HOPE!!!!
Now, if you don't know the difference between a business owner and an entrepreneur (no spell check this time- I just looked at the other word) I'll help you out.
A small business owner owns a shop or a business or such.
An entrepreneur (that word is hard y'all), has dreams and plans and thinks outside the box.
If you know John you know that he is defiantly an outside the box, big dreamer guy.
So here is a link to what his new company's write up in the paper.
He/we are so blessed to be in this big dream with some amazing guys and their families. And if he gets facebook big- you can say you knew him way back when...
And this cool video really explains what my husband actually does. Because if you ask me what he does, I'll take way more than 30 seconds and then I'll just whip out my phone and show you the video.

23

23 months!
We are almost at 2!!!!!
You both are getting so big! I look sometimes and see my sweet babies and look again and you are little girls.
Mommy got a new camera and I hope that it will lead me to more blogging which in turn will make the grandparents most happy. But for now-

Cosette- You are a chatter box. You repeat most words and make up new ones you don't know. You like to talk. A LOT. You are adventurous. You can scale the slide and attempt to leap small buildings with a single bound. You love bunnies. Any and all you love to cuddle and hold. Your favorite word in the whole wide world is "No." You repeat this and chant this all the time. We are working on saying, "Yes, Mommy." And still the saying "sorry" after a sister crime is hard for you to do. You like to color, you know the color pink (thanks to Gianna). "The pink one," is a favorite chant for you. You have a smile that delights me and I love to see your creative side when you "cook" for momma. You really really like being read to.

Elizabeth- You love love love that baby Lala. We have two and when you find them both it is your own personal happy place. You can put on most shoes by yourself and have put on socks by yourself too. You can take off your pants for bath and we recently discovered that you can take off your diaper in the middle of the night too. You prefer night time baths. You like to identify what item belongs with each person in our house. When you see someone is missing it, you will take it to them. So sweet. You are quick with the "sorry's", but you are also quick with the teeth. Working on using your words to express yourself. You like all dogs and enjoy making all kinds of animal sounds.

Seasons

Hurray for Spring!

Here at the Ludlow Casa we have been celebrating our Spring Break of Awesomeness! Name inspired by one of my favorite blogs- Sit a Spell
Her spring Break of awesomeness is a bit different as she actually has children who are old enough to break from something and mine just break from preschool. Not much stress there.
So our Spring Break of Awesomeness mostly is composed of going to a different park everyday. It also includes special trips to special stores that sell special pink ice cream! That is truly Awesomeness!
It's eating dinner outside because we can. It saying yes to an extra special drink or dessert. Is just being together and enjoying each other and the world God made us.
Hope you are enjoying your own Spring Break of awesomeness.

Ides of March

Today we celebrate the Ides of March. What is that?
It's only the modern day celebration of the day Julius Caesar was stabbed by his whole senate and friend- Marcus Brutus.
Now my brother is probably the only person I know who can still recite that famous speech of Brutus'. We had to memorize it in High school. It was a while ago.
I'll give you a taste-
Friends Romans Countrymen. Lend me your ears. I come to bury Caesar not to praise him.

And that's all I remember.

I just wanted to let you know I've not entirely given up blogging. And to give you a bit of useless trivia. You are welcome.
