Last week we went to Dallas and dropped Grace off and I spent the rest of the week recovering! I'm not used to a child who can carry on a conversation, help you out, and who you have to watch very carefully what you say because she is VERY smart and can repeat it in public!
We also went down to Houston for our appointment with Dr. Roach and she said we were all "go" for this month doing IVF. So I've started the drugs and I don't even pretend to tell you what they do or how they do it. I just know I lay on the bed while John practices his Dr. Frankenstein impression and draws some liquid into his shot. Now we must have a great marriage because:
1. I allow him to shoot me with drugs everyday
2. Don't complain too much (he might tell you differently, but he is WRONG very very WRONG)
And 3. He lives with me with all the fun chemicals and such going on.
So there you have it folks if you want to test your marriage just do a round of IVF and see if you can pass the pin cushion test.
Thank you to all of you who have been praying for us. I go between confidence in this round because it worked so well last time and then total and debilitating fear that we were so blessed last time that this time might not go the same way. So what I'm saying is- Keep up the prayers because I really feel them and am grateful for them.
Now I've got to go. I need to find a gymnastics/swimming place that will have Gianna ready for the 2016 Olympics so I can live out my dream of a gold medal through her. I may not be able to improve her double layout tuck, but I can show her how to have the big finish and stick the landing.
