So I'm already beginning to notice some differences this time around from the first.
Number one- I have not gained any weight so far, but my tummy is already pouching out.
I hear this happens in your second pregnancy and even more so with twins, but come on, it's only been 6 weeks!
Number 2- The significant increase in the nausea. I'm mean off the charts people. You caught me at a good time because John is home and Gianna is fed and mostly it's calm. And it's the middle of the day- my best time for the all day "morning" sickness!
Number 3- I have a toddler to chase this pregnancy where as last time around I just had John.
Number 4- TWINS! It can be a bit overwhelming to think about, but I know how to feed a baby, keep it warm and survive on little sleep!
Well got to go- me and the porcelain king have scheduled some quality time together.

I am so sorry that you aren't feeling well. hopefully it won't last. As for showing early.. I showed very early with the girls, but also didn't gain any weight until 16 weeks. So hopefully you'll have the same luck!
You may already know this, but I sent Justin to the pharmacy one night and the pharmacist advised using Boniva which is a travel sickness medicine. It is a tiny chewable tablet that tastes pleasant and worked like a charm. That and protein worked much better for my nausea than starchy foods.
Hope it passes quickly!
Um, okay. I've reviewed too many medical claims today. Boniva is for osteoporosis. I'm glad I re-read my comment! Ha! The travel sickness med is Bonine. Hope it works for you!
Well now I know what to take when I've got brittle bones!
Thanks for the tips!
oh girl, i am feeling you! just the other day i made myself get a pumpkin spice latte so that i could remember that they taste really good...this time last year, i didn't keep it down and it ruined them for me for the whole season. may it pass quickly, but you know what they say...sick = things are growing nicely!
I always called it "inconvenience" sickness cuz the whole morning thing is a total misnomer! And it is inconvenient. It is so hard to feel so crummy when you feel the costs of being pregnant and none of the benefits--you don't got to feel the baby(ies) move and you feel more fat than pregnant, ya know!? But sarah brings up a good point--sick=growing babies.
I like how #3 sounds like you used to chase John around :).
Here are some hugs for your nausea! If I were there I'd bring you some lunch so you wouldn't have to make it!
