Remember back on February 2 when it was groundhog day? You know - see shadow more winter no see shadow then spring? That little vermin had the audacity of seeing his shadow and giving us SIX more weeks of winter.
The girls are recovering still from a cold or something that they keep passing around and around and around and it's too wet, cold or windy to go anywhere with three kiddos. Well, I should stop there.
Why I've not been putting more words in the posts this week is because my momma taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say- then don't say anything at all.
Here I sit for about the millionth day in a row with NO SUN and nothing nice to say.
Genesis 7:12
And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.
Genesis 9
12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
BRING ON THE RAINBOW!!!!!

Amen! And no more snow!! :-)
Today while walking home from the market with some desperately needed milk for the fam, I noticed some snowdrop flowers springing up and showing their delicate white flowers. A sign that yes, it is STILL winter, but spring is on its way.
Living in a country with more cloudy days than sunny ones means that those sweet flowers are a blessing from above! I needed to get home but I could have stood in front of those flowers for a while this afternoon!
