We celebrated by going to the Kolache festival in Caldwell Texas. Short and sweet because the babies stared to break down after 2 hours, but a fun time was had by all.
It was his birthday so I humored him with a picture by the port-a-potties. Next year I may not be so nice.
G up and down the city hall steps after we ate our Kolaches. We picked the longest line to get kolaches from. I thought- they must know something about the quality of these kolaches. And they did- they were good. Yummm Cream cheese!
Was I ready for this? No I was not. I usually have a rule about no getting on a ride that folds up and can be packed away, but ... I caved...
G L.O.V.E.D. the train And she go a very special train whistle that can only be blown outside. (wink wink)
Oh and Cosette learned how to use it on the way home too. What talent. A 16 month old already playing an instrument!
E and C hanging out with friends. The break down happened a just moments after this. (mine happened in the car you know- right about 3 minutes after Cosette learned how to blow the train whistle.
John with his favorite cake- Chocolate chip cookie cake.
Happy Birthday John Dear!!!!!!!!
Psalm 34:18-20
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;
20 he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.

I thought his birthday was September 11th! I saw all the posts on his fb page and that he'd put Sept 9th and thought that maybe I was just sleep deprived and forgetful. But you can't forget when someone has a birthday on 9-11!
