But fewer and fewer boxes each day!!!!
We went to Galveston this weekend to pickup a washer and dryer from my folks' house down there. I have put it to good use already. Several times over. A family of five and one Granny goes through a LOT of laundry each day!
A few friends have said that it takes a year to get fully settled.
We only have 51 more weeks to go!

Where did I put that?
That question seems to be the one asked most by everyone who can talk. Usually the answer is: "In a box. We have to unpack it soon." But yesterday, I spent 10 minutes looking for my keys in the house only to find them on the front seat of the van. I put them there so they would be easy to find and not get lost in the house. Ha!
Only one thing broke in the move and I actually broke it. I have a plate with holes on the rim and I got it caught in something I was packing and pushed on it and then it broke. A trip to WalMart for super glue and it should be fine.
Unpacking I broke a perfume bottle. Both nice and scary. It at least smells nice, but it broke in the bathroom. Where you spend most of the time barefoot.
My mom comes today!!!! Hurray Hurray!!!! I hope to have the house all the way unpacked by tomorrow.
Just kidding! But I hope to use her great baby watching skills so that I can get more boxes out and put away.
By now you have figured out that I did not come across my camera cord. On the look out still. Where did I put that?

What happened Saturday...
First no pictures- yet. I do have them and I promise to upload them when I find the cord.
Second- There are a LOT of BOXES!!!!!!!!
We are in and a great BIG thank you to our dear friends who helped us move! We had about 10 guys show up and swarmed the house before the girls and I were done with breakfast. I finished them up and hurried to go get kolaches for the crew. I dropped off Gianna at a friends house and the babies and I headed over to get set up for moving in.
John's family came over from Temple and watched babies and set up the kitchen. Thanks times a million!
We slept in the house Saturday night and even managed to got to church on Sunday. We found everything but my shoes. I found some, but not the cute ones.
Saturday it felt like sleeping in a hotel. Nothing was in drawers in the bathroom yet. Saturday was the kitchen and yesterday afternoon I did the playroom. Today who knows....maybe find a computer cord! ;)

What I'm doing right now
I'm not packing. I'm blogging. 'Cause you can't pack the pots and pans when the children sleep.
Not that all three of them are. Not that two of them are. But one is and that means that I can't currently pack because it might mean that it would wake up the last one of my sleeping children.
I'm so stinking excited I can't stand it. We are ready to move and ready and just so excited.
Part of what makes it so fun is that there is now so much opportunity to start over.
Begin fresh.
Change.
Renew.
I have big plans for not just organizing my home and stuff, but for making a true honest effort at changing some of the habits that I've let myself fall into.
Status quo- No longer!
Come join me. Finish that project you've started only to let it not get finished because "life" got in the way.
Throw out those old things that are sitting around just bringing you down.
Change a habit that you know you need to.
Renew refresh, rejoice!

The post about moving
I wanted to wait until we had a firm closing date, and we were out of the option period to fill everyone in on our house details. So here it is:
We are moving across town. But since we live in a small college town it's really only 2 exits away. And 8 turns. I counted.
We close on our house on Friday and we move in THIS Saturday!!!!
I'll be sure to post some before and after pictures for your viewing pleasure.
We are now in the, "I can't pack anything else because I'm still using it stage."
The garage is full and boxes are spilling inside. I'm trying to keep it as normal for as long as I can for Gianna. We're talking about "the new house, and her "my new pink room."
She is excited. We are excited and counting down the days!

We have not moved in 10 years! Our little home that was supposed to be just a temporary place to live until we moved away from College Station, but has become our home for the last TEN years. I'm a bit out of practice in the packing department. Any tips out there blog readers?
