Thank you Aunt Lisa for the shoes. Gianna found them yesterday and decided to wear them. I told her they were too big, but the shoe maven that she is said, "No mama, I will wear these shoes and make them work." And so she did. She put them on and stood on it. She was so delighted that they could make a noise. She stood in place and squeaked for a good five minutes. We wrestled to take them off at nap time. We put them up, but mistakenly not out of sight. She found them again after her nap. And asked very nicely if she could wear them. (OK it was a major meltdown, but really whose counting?)
So I let her. And then I went to run my head into a wall so I wouldn't have to hear the sound anymore. So the shoes now sit in a VERY special place. Just waiting for Aunt Lisa to come visit!

Sounds like a dog squeeky toy. How does Scooter react? Tho, I don't think I've seen him play with toys. Unless you count a plastic bottle.
